Pride Spotlight

During the 2007 season, the PRIDE established itself as a top contender
in the league. The team finished with a 7-2 league record and a playoff birth.
In the first round, the PRIDE defeated the Warhawks to advance to the semi finals where they were eliminated by the Gladiators in a game that wasn’t decided until
the last 3 minutes of the contest.

“I am extremely proud of everyone in our organization” said Coach Rich. “We played hard nosed football week after week and we have set the foundation to become a power house in the future”.

The PRIDE had another fantastic rookie class in 2007. WR - Jason Booker,
SS – Jeremy Mangol, and OT – Rob Daft were recognized by the league and voted to the All Star team.

Other members of the rookie class that contributed greatly to the success of the team were WR’s Nelson Gee and TJ Aitken, LB Chuck Perkins, G Maurice Patterson, T Jerry Hankins, DT Dave Carswell, HB Mike Wilson, QB/ K Chris Nagy, and Special Teams stand outs Jeff McKee (FS), Joel Williams (QB), and Joshua Kiefer (FS).
